WE uphold the following views, with understanding for variation among party affiliation: We uphold the First Amendment of the Constitution of the United States in that the freedom of religion will not be tread upon. In
this we maintain that belief or lack of belief is the fundamental tenet
of our country. That being said we do not see the
separation of
church and state as a license to eliminate the influence of religion
in anyone's life or that of a community's. We hold that the relgious beliefs of all paths, mainstream or not, have a place in the political aspirations of our country and seek to build on the commonality of ethics while maintaining our respective morals in our homes and places of worship.
We support the quick and decisive implementation of force on our enemies and those who harbor and support them.
We encourage all families, however they maybe constructed, to use their respective beliefs as a basis for betterment and moral guidance.
We acknowledge that life is fostered at the conception and the this is so done by our respect view of Divinity and that if said Divinity thought said child should not exist then they would, by course of nature, deem it so. We do understand that when the life of the mother is involved that decisions should be made and that is between her, her partner and/or family, or her Divinity. Abortion as a method of birthcontrol is a further sign of the American soictety no longer taking responsibility for their "mistakes" and seeking quick fix. We do realize that any prohibition should be determined by communites and states and is not the job of the government and that those comunities will have to deal with the possible influx of children. It is important for family to be involved and to teach on matters of responsiblity including contraception amd abstinence. The government and schools should not. We support the faith-based initiatives on the level that whatever non-endorsement support and financial backing, which can be provided or backed by the government, can aid all spiritual groups, which often serve as centers for various communities, geographic and dispersed, so long as it goes to basic function and supplies of a non-specific religious nature (job skills books, food, office supplies, etc.- not Bibles, Books of Shadows, or the like). |
